Andrea Seabrook has worked for National Public Radio covering politics since the time I was in middle school. That's why I was surprised this summer when I learned that she was quitting her job as NPR's Congressional Reporter out of frustration with a system that was rife with collusion, lies and stonewalling.

On this episode, Andrea Seabrook talks about the true nature of Washington DC and explains the new podcast she's producing called DecodeDC

I met Puke when I was walking down the street on a trans-America hitchhiking trip in 2011. We camped together in the park, and before we fell asleep, I pulled out my recorder and had him tell some stories about his impending transition from trainriding to college.

Content Note:
This episode is absolutely rife with foul language.

Captain Chris Staudinger is an experienced world traveler...now. But back in 2006, he visited Myanmar (Burma), during a time of political unrest, militarization and a general mistrust of anyone American. He looked like a spy.

On this episode, Chris tells his story of escaping the country after he and his friends saw something that they should not have seen.

Photos from Chris' Myanmar trip.

Chris now runs a travel blog with his girlfriend Tawny Clark. They travel the world on next to no money and teach others how to do the same.
